God of More than Enough!

Those who know me well, know it’s not my M.O. to talk about my financial situation. But I’ve been encouraged by a good friend to not be bashful about putting it out there in order for others to be able to sow into what God has called me to do. So I guess this is that. What I’m NOT bashful about is what God has called me to do. I know that I know that I know God has put me on the earth to be a voice of worship and prayer, and to provide a place for God, and a place for people to engage with Him (Psalm 132:3-5; Ephesians 2:22). Giving myself fully to this calling in an undistracted way is what I would love to be able to do. In Acts chapter 6 the apostles made a strategic choice in how they did ministry by arranging things so they could “devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” I am asking God if I can do that very thing.

As many of you know, I’ve spent the last month and a half seeking the Lord very intently (Feb-Mar 2024). It’s been challenging. I haven’t been sure if I'm at the Red Sea or the Jordan river. If you’ll remember, at the Red Sea the word was “stand still and see the salvation of the Lord”. At the Jordan, on the other hand, the priests had to put their feet in the water first before anything happened. When they did, the Jordan stopped flowing and all the people crossed over on dry ground. I’ve decided I’m at the Jordan. Gulp. Last week I made a decision to put my foot in the water on something I’d been wrestling with the Lord about for a while. When I did it, something definitely happened in me. I’m doing the same with this financial thing. It’s requiring 100% faith, and is 100% out of my comfort zone. But as someone once said, “If I perish, I perish.”

The increasing intensity of the hour we live in is not a mere Christian cliché or ministry mantra. Nor is Mordecai’s word to Esther, “for such a time as this”, just a slogan signifying timeliness. God uses gatherings of worship and prayer to neutralize the invisible powers of darkness that are energizing the visible evil entities in government and culture in our nation. You might wanna read that last sentence again. As a catalyst for these gatherings, I tell you that NOW is the time for MORE, not less! Acceleration, not dialing it down. Shrinking back is not an option. All of heaven will back those who boldly take a stand and lift their voice. This is what I was made for, and now is the time. Many of you have heard me say, “I feel like I’m just getting started.” Well…duh! That’s exactly how I feel, now more than ever. Let’s go!

Some of y’all have recently begun supporting us regularly, and you’ve been nothing short of a Godsend. Muchísimas grácias! Considering all the above, if more of you would like to sow into some really good soil, you can support our ministry through Worship Watch and Wait. Whether it’s here in Kansas City, or to the ends of the earth — wherever God sends us we will go "be a voice and provide a place”.

One afternoon a few years ago I took my guitar to the Arizona historic senate chamber to “be a voice and provide a place” with my good buddy Guy Chadwick. It was just the two of us. As we worshipped, God showed me we were literally becoming a portal for that senate chamber to become the seat of God’s government. It was a download from heaven I’ll never forget. I am moved again now as I think about how awesome that revelation was. When you support our ministry, I 100% believe you are helping us literally establish the government of God wherever He sends us. Hallelujah! So if you wanna get in on that, welcome aboard! Checks made payable to Worship Watch and Wait are fully tax-deductible, and can be mailed to 2608 Main St, Grandview, MO 64030. You can also click the “Give” button on this page and give that way. Notice the recurring gift feature for those of you who want to give regularly. Thank you in advance for your generosity! May the Lord multiply it back to you a thousand times!
